A New McDonald’s for Glossop

If you want to see a new McDonald’s restaurant and drive-thru for Glossop Brook Road, Glossop, you need to make your voice heard to your local representatives at High Peak Borough Council.

The new restaurant will complement the nearby Wren’s Nest Retail Park, and we need you to support it with your comments to help bring forward this much needed scheme that will deliver:

• More than 65 new, much needed jobs (FTE), including career progression for people of all ages and backgrounds
• Increased investment in the area, as well as business rates payable on the new restaurant to High Peak Borough Council for the Council to spend on the provision of key local services
• Increased spending in the local economy
• Reduced car journeys to neighbouring towns as the new McDonald’s would be in a sustainable and convenient location for local residents
• Redevelopment of a derelict building
